Maybe I need a whole lot of practice and much better tools. I like it because the numbers are big.

I have a small one from Lee Valley that I paid 4 or 5 times the price for but the numbers are tiny. Though it is oil filled and displays the angle without occasionally giving it a tap to make sure it is hanging plum. It also can be calibrated. I like using it for setting my table saw blade and band saw table angle.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03303473701895458319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8561273513431850754.post-41575744797847012762013-01-14T11:46:42.660-06:002013-01-14T11:46:42.660-06:00Hope all is well. The dowel is used to place in a hole that has been drilled in a part to orient it so that a new hole can be drilled in relation to the previous hole. I use this mostly when going form the drill press over to the slot mortiser so that everything stays in line at the proper angle. I will show how this works in an up coming post.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03303473701895458319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8561273513431850754.post-19930842190077709742013-01-08T02:55:07.519-06:002013-01-08T02:55:07.519-06:00That's a nice jig, thank you for the article.....That's a nice jig, thank you for the article...
